Holly Hunter is a well-known American actor as well as producer and director. She has been praised for movies like Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles and The Incredibles. She has won many awards for her performance which includes an Oscar. Actresses have an extensive career of involvement in Broadway, Off-Broadway and other productions. Since her childhood she's been passionate in the field of acting. She played Helen Keller as a fifth-grade pupil in a school performance. After suffering from the mumps, she went deaf on one side the ear. However, this didn't stop her from pursuing her dream to become an actor. When she was in college studying drama and moving to New York City with her plans to achieve them. Hunter was trapped in an elevator with the playwright Beth Henley when she met her. Together they created Broadway Crimes of the Heart that marked the debut of Hunter on Broadway. After that, she made the move from New York to Los Angeles and tried to land films roles. For Swing Shift, she landed an appearance as a supporting character. In the three decades since her time in Los Angeles Holly Hunter has been in many films, TV shows and movies. Holly Hunter is a Hollywood Walk of Fame celebrity and she has won Women in Film Lucy Award.
